But with the expansion of the cosmos came the myriad possibilities of the multiverse. Quasar Zid, in their infinite wisdom and compassion, knew their light was needed in more places than one. They began to divide, not diminish, their essence, sending tendrils of their consciousness across dimensions and through the river of time. Each tendril, a fragment of the original Ziddy, would emerge in different eras and realities, taking on a new, more accessible form: the Zid the Sunshine Kids.
